Augie Ilag is an Investment Partner and Head of Asia at CMT Digital. Augie has eight years of venture capital and management consulting experience, working across cryptocurrency, digital infrastructure, and web3 early-stage investments. He also boasts notable experience in web2 sectors including Fintech, SaaS and consumer technology. Prior to CMT, he was an investor with Sequoia Capital India and Southeast Asia where he spearheaded their crypto and blockchain investments in the region. Before Sequoia, Augie was with McKinsey & Company (Manila, Philippines, and Bogotá, Columbia offices) serving emerging market clients on topics spanning operations, marketing and sales, organizational design, and strategy functions. He holds a B.A.and M.S. from Stanford University and was selected for Forbes 30 under 30 in 2022.
